I'd take your criticism more seriously if it made any sense. You obviously didn't read anything if you think plot constantly devolves into abuse/cheating/cuckold/rape. Your account is seven years old, and this is the only comment you've ever written, which means you're someone's alternate, and probably not worth the time it takes to write this reply.
2018-06-23 16:43:10 Reunion Ch. 8. Final_(1) Just raced through your entire series, and it was fantastic. I hope you continue writing; this site could use more authors like you!
2018-07-12 19:12:20 The Creators: Book Two, Chapters 1-2 I'm kind of writing the next three chapters all at once. I have a list of things I want to have happen, and I want them to happen in a certain order, but finding a way to get from A to B to C without it feeling forced has been a challenge. It's starting to come together, but I don't want to rush it. The next three chapters are probably going to all be over 30,000 words, with each interlude chapter being around 6000-8000 words, maybe longer. I'm not going to give any timetables for release, because I usually can't keep those promises.
2018-07-31 17:00:33 What Kind of Erotic Writer are You? Very thought-provoking essay, Bashful. I once had a user ask me for advice about writing erotica, and I ended up writing him a term paper for an answer; maybe I'll post that here. I think one trap that new writers (and I was certainly guilty of this) fall into, is not defining their characters. For a lot of authors, the characters are just the tool to get to the sex, which removes the one part of erotic writing that separates it from other forms of sexual entertainment.

Defining characters with motives, insecurities, and quirks makes the sexual interaction between characters hold so much more weight. Now when I start a story, I start by creating the characters, and let them guide the plot for me. I'll act as the narrative god, and introduce an unexpected turn, but otherwise, I'm a slave to how the characters will react to a situation, and to each other.

Also, it really annoys me how often characters go from virgin, to slut in one paragraph. Arcs are important!
