The characters seemed realistic and almost true to life. You did a wonderful job of handling the dialogue, which is something that a lot of writers have problems with. Your story was very well thought out. You included enough detail to make the story interesting but not to much to make it boring. Your punctuation was almost perfect, a lot better than some other stories that I have read on this website. It's true that perhaps some of your words didn't quite fit in with the story, but that is only a minor detail. I have read other stories here, written by people that was supposed to know the English language, and some of them were worse and harder to read than yours. I had more problems reading some of the comments that some people have made here about your story, then I did reading your story. |

Yours is one of the best I've seen on this site. Your grammar, punctuation, spelling and sentence structure are great and that adds a lot to the over all effect of a story. Personally I don't think it was quite as good as you "Blackmailed Mother" story, but then I have no idea how you will ever manage to top that story. It was absolutely fantastic. In this story you managed to put the "empty and lonely" feelings into the beginning of your story. I lost my wife a few years ago, so I understand those feelings, even though I know this was just a story. You are a wonderful author and have a real talent for expressing yourself through words. Please keep up the good work. Thanks for a great story. Of course I gave you a positive vote, same as I have on the other two stories of yours I've read. Now I'm off to read your next story. |

It isn't easy I know, but try to watch your grammar, it sometimes detracts from the story by diverting the readers attention. I've read all your stories so far and I do see an improvement, so just keep trying. You have a LOT talent and I'm like everyone else, because I can hardly wait until the next chapter is published.
